Avenidas Achieves €5 Million in Business Turnover in 2023

In 2023, Avenidas invested €1.5 million in its four business areas – Ride, Tour, Send, and Grow – accompanied by a rebranding, leading to the creation of a new website to reorganise internal processes and enhance the company's basic structure.

"For us, 2023 was a year of consolidation, where we managed to exceed our goals with a robust and increasingly efficient team. We reached unprecedented revenue levels, which is not just a financial achievement but also a reflection of the team's commitment to innovate, evolve, and achieve goals," says Manuel Reis, CEO & Co-Founder of Avenidas.

In the Ride sector, Avenidas concludes 2023 with several partnerships for Business-To-Business (B2B) passenger transportation, including IBM, Luggage Storage, Climex, GS1, and numerous Business-to-Consumer (B2C) individual customers, such as families.

In the Send division, the creation of a solid business structure supported its growth. With various brands working on the end-to-end Food Delivery service, totalling more than 40 stores in Lisbon and Porto, plus 5 last-mile logistics partnerships, with Fonte Viva, Paack, Correios Express, and Terra Boa, conducting around 3,000 deliveries daily.

In the Tour segment, Avenidas has a little over 20 partnerships, with companies like Viator, Airbnb, Expedia, Get Your Guide, Living Tours, Windsor Travel, among others, conducting about 3500 experiences and over a thousand B2C transfers annually. Finally, the Grow service currently collaborates with Worldcoin in 15 locations from North to South of Portugal.

In 2024, Avenidas plans to invest between €1.5 million and €2 million in its four business areas and grow in the mobility and delivery sectors, with a fully electrified fleet to better meet the needs of its customers. "This was a year in which we challenged ourselves, and the results we achieved show us that we are on the right path. Our ambition is to continue growing by offering a reference service, so we look at 2024 with optimism. We are ready to challenge and be challenged again," concludes Bernardo da Cunha, COO & Partner of Avenidas.

The Portuguese startup concludes the year with about 100 couriers, 35 distributors, 120 TVDE drivers, including 15 tour guides, and 60 promoters dedicated to their client in the Growth area.
